Privacy policy
The short version
ShePrep collects almost nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no newsletters. You can read every page without giving us anything at all.
Analytics, only if you agree
We use Google Analytics to see which pages get read. It is switched off until you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you press Reject, or ignore it, nothing is ever sent to Google. That is not a promise about intent — the analytics script is loaded with consent denied by default and only activates on an explicit yes.
The calculators never see your data
Every calculator on this site runs entirely inside your browser. Your dates, measurements and results are worked out on your own device and are never transmitted, stored or logged. We could not see them if we wanted to.
What is stored on your device
Three small settings, kept in your browser and nowhere else:
sheprep-consent— whether you accepted or rejected analyticssheprep-theme— whether you chose light or 2am modesheprep-country— which country’s guidance you last viewed
Clearing your browser data removes all three. Nothing follows you anywhere.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which handles standard web request information such as your IP address in order to deliver pages and block abuse. That happens for any website you visit.
Advertising
There are no adverts on ShePrep today. If that changes, this page will say so before it happens.
Your rights and how to reach us
You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to it being processed. In practice there is very little to ask about. Email privacy@sheprep.com and we will answer.
If you are in the UK and think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
